Description:

Corporate and Other Law is the Paper 2 of CA Inter. It is divided into 2 parts. Part I - Corporate Law, which is of 70 marks and Part II - Other Laws, which s of 30 marks.

Its syallbus includes:

Part I: Corporate Law (70 Marks):

• The Companies Act, 2013 (Section 1 - 148 & Section 379 - 393A & various rules made under the Act)
• The Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008

Part II: Other Laws (30 Marks):

• The General Clauses Act, 1897
• Interpretation of Statutes
• The Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999

It is 100 Mark Paper which comprises of 30 Marks of Objective Questions (i.e. MCQs - Multiple Choice Questions) and 70 Marks of Subjective Questions.

Objective: To develop an understanding of legal provisions in relation to Corporate and Other Laws and develop skill for its practical application.
